Before the Race

How do I enter / sign up for the race?

What time do the races start?

  • 09:15am – Half Marathon

  • 09:30am – Quarter Marathon
    Please listen carefully to verbal instructions at the start.

     

What time is registration?
08:15 – 09:00am near Churchfields Café.

 

Can I register on the day?
Yes, if places are still available. Payment accepted by cash or card.

 

How and when will I get my race number?
You’ll receive it at the Registration Desk on race day.

 

Where can I park?
Free parking at Churchfields Farm from 7:30am. Please car share where possible.

 

Where is the event held?
Churchfields Farm, Salwarpe, Droitwich Spa WR9 0AH

 

Can I leave my bag?
Yes, in the registration tent (unmanned). Leaving items in your car is recommended.

 

What is the terrain?
The route is fully on-road, scenic, and undulating around the outskirts of Droitwich Spa.

 

Is the race chip timed?
Yes, the event is chip timed and licensed.

 

What facilities are on site?
Café (open from 10am), toilets, and first aid.

 

Who can take part?
Anyone aged 17 and over.

 

Is there first aid on site?
Yes. Inform a marshal if you need help—they will contact the medical team.

 

What should I wear?
Dress for the weather. Use sun protection, stay hydrated, and consider carrying your own liquids.

 

Are spectators welcome?
Yes, supporters are encouraged and can cheer along the route.

 

Is the event suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs?
No, the country lanes are narrow and may not be safe.

 

Are dogs allowed to run?
No, for safety reasons.

Are there toilets at the event?
Yes, available at the start/finish from 8am.

 

Can I get a refund if I can't run?
No refunds.

 

Can I transfer my place to someone else?
Yes, via your StuWeb account until 12pm on Thursday 26th June 2025.

 

Can I defer my place?
No deferrals.

 

Can I switch from HM to QM or vice versa?
Yes, via your StuWeb account.

 

What race info will I receive?
An email with race details and a Participant Guide (including FAQ).

What should I bring on race day?
Card/cash, water bottle, snacks, proper running gear, a change of clothes, and waterproofs if needed.

 

Can I run for charity?
Yes! We'd love to hear your story.

 

During the Race

Are there water stations?

  • QM: at 5.5 km

  • HM: at 3 miles, 7 miles, and 9.7 miles
     

Will the roads be closed?
No.

 

Is the event marshalled?
Yes. Please respect all marshals — they are volunteers.

 

Are there toilets on the route?
Yes, near the water station.

 

Will the race be signed?

  • HM: Mile markers

  • QM: Kilometre markers
     

What if I get injured?
Tell the nearest marshal. They’ll contact medical support or emergency services if needed.

 

Race cut-off time:
3 hours (12:30pm)

 

What if I want to retire from the race?
Inform a marshal. They will notify the team and help you return to HQ.

 

Can I wear headphones?
Check England Athletics for the latest headphone rules.

 

Will there be a lead guide?
Yes, lead cyclists will guide the front runners.

 

Need to stop mid-race?
Step to the side to avoid blocking others.

 

After the Race

Will I get a medal or prize?
Yes! Finishers receive a medal and special gift.

Top 3 male and female runners receive:

  • 1st: £20 Amazon voucher

  • 2nd: £15 Amazon voucher

  • 3rd: £10 Amazon voucher
     

What should I do after finishing?
Cool down with a walk/jog, rehydrate, and enjoy some post-race snacks.
